Nestled in the hills of Ocotal, Guanacaste Province, Villa Mar-a-Selva overlooks the Pacific Ocean and the Bay of Papagayo on the northwest coast of Costa Rica. Villa Mar-a-Selva offers four ocean view luxury bedrooms and four and a half baths. This three-level all-inclusive villa offers a private luxury retreat with a full staff – your talented chef, housekeeper and bartender. A marvelous paradise retreat, this villa offers a beautiful, infinity pool with breathtaking views. Our all-inclusive rates include three meals per day, snacks, a full open bar and staff to provide you with five-star services. DETAILS

Villa Mar-a-Selva is an all-inclusive private, luxury, three-level, four bedroom, four and a half bath villa. A full staff - cook, bartender, and housekeeper - are at your service. They arrive around 7 a.m. and depart shortly after dinner.

Food & Beverages

You will enjoy daily mouth watering meals prepared by our talented Costa Rican cooks and staff using local fresh ingredients. The villa's bartender serves the meals and handles the bar during the day and early evening before and during dinner.

Breakfast – Normally served around 8:00 a.m., breakfast is cooked to order and served with fresh fruit, toast, juices, hash browns, pancakes or French toast, gallo pinto, and our famous Costa Rican Coffee.

Lunch – Lunch is typically served from noon to 1:00 p.m. and consists of a variety of salads such as the delicious tarragon chicken, grape, and almond salad. Other lunches consist of our famous tacos, quesadillas, grilled chicken, nachos, pasta, and grilled fish or chicken strips. If you take a day trip or tour that does not include lunch, our staff will gladly pack you lunch and refreshments.

Dinner – Our fabulous four-course dinners are served between 5 and 5:30 p.m.(sunset is around 5:30 p.m. in Costa Rica and the sun rises shortly after 5 a.m.) and consist of one an entree served with salad or soup, fresh side vegetables, bread and dessert. Entrees are made using the freshest local ingredients, including fresh seafood, vegetables, and fruit, as well as chicken, beef, and pork. Among the seafood and entrees served during the week's stay are fresh whole pan fried red snapper, grilled mahi-mahi, sea bass, shrimp, lobster, beef tenderloin, Hawaiian pork chop, chicken parmesan, and lasagna. * Seafood is based on availability.

Beverages – Your friendly bartender will gladly mix and serve refreshing drinks while you relax in the pool or sit in your rocker on the patio. The bar includes two kinds of Costa Rican beer, white and red house wines, rum, vodka, tequila, gin, bourbon and scotch. Bartender specialties include our famous margaritas, pina coladas, mojitos, daiquiris or other frozen drinks made with the freshest ingredients. Soft drinks, fruit drinks, milk, and legendary Costa Rican coffee are also available. The bar remains open in the evening after the staff leaves but you will have to fix your own drinks until they return at 7:00 a.m. the next morning. "Pure Vida!"

Additional Amenities

The housekeeper cleans the entire house daily and provides fresh linens and towels. They will also launder your personal washable items of clothing daily so you can pack light.

With a view that's second to none, you will likely find yourself wanting to kick back and relax at the villa. You can also soak up the sun and enjoy the incredible view from the infinity pool while our attentive staff brings you drinks. Or you can have 5 Star Salon come to the villa to pamper you with massages, manicures, pedicures, facials, and even haircuts.

The living room has a large TV and sound system with amazing panoramic views of the ocean and jungle canopy. The dining room is just off the living room.

Each of Mar-a-Selva’s four spacious bedrooms includes a private en-suite bathroom, premium bedding, and soothing design elements inspired by the natural surroundings.
