Getting to Costa Rica
Liberia International Airport (LIR) is now open and is about 25 minutes from our villas. The following airlines have flights into Liberia or San Jose:
Delta flies into Liberia (LIR) every day & twice on Friday and Saturday connecting through Atlanta.
Delta also flies non-stop daily from Atlanta to the San Jose International Airport.
Continental flies into Liberia (LIR) daily and twice on weekends connecting through Houston.
American flies daily into Liberia (LIR) connecting through Miami, plus a direct flight from Dallas on Wednesday.
Vacation Charters now fly directly into Liberia Airport from various destinations in the United States on Saturday only.
Sansa Airlines provides daily commuter service from San Jose to Liberia and nearby Tamarindo (approximately $80 one way, 45 minutes).
