January 2-9, 2011 - Family Vacation Happy "60" Birthday to Sandy on January 4, 2011. This
is a return trip for Miny & Sandy - after staying here last year
we knew we wanted to return with our family for a vacation and
it has been wonderfull!!! We celebrated Sandy's 60th birthday
and Anne & Stephen announced they are having a baby! Lots to
celebrate as a family. We read many books, walked, lounged, relaxed,
and also enjoyed field trips: Don Bosco with Captain Richard
Hook which we loved and the canopy zipline tours. Massages to
celebrate and spoil ourselves. Chema & crew were amazing. Damaris
made the most beautiful birthday cake for Sandy and Chema decorated
the table with flowers and confetti. We shot off champagne bottles
with a large sword and introduced a new tradition to the stay
at Villa Paraiso. We return to the states at least 10 pounds
heavier from amazing, delicious food and drinks! We've found
a lovely, special place at Villa Paraiso and hope to return again
one day. -- The Tyard-Schenck Family, Flat Rock, NC & Charleston,
SC
November 21-28, 2010 From the minute we walked in the door, we knew this would
be an amazing trip. Chema had delicious drinks waiting, and it wasn't
long until we hit the pool! Damaris and Deyanira made AMAZING food
and Susanna kept the place spotless in spite of five crazy kids. Every
day was an adventrue - zip line, water slide, the Don Bosco, sport
fishing and just having family volleyball tournaments in the pool.
As we sit here on our last day looking at the view it's hard to imagine
life at home in freezing cold Boston without Chema and the rest of
the gang. We hope to come back sooner rather than later!
Pura Vida!

November 7-16, 2010 Wow, is all we can say! This is our second time to visit
this beautiful villa. We all had a wonderful time and expecially
enjoyed the staff. They are superior. The view is spectacular,
the wild life was something we truly enjoyed. WIsh I could write
more but the bus awaits. We will be back. Thanks to everyone.

October 30 - November 6, 2010 First there were emails, then strategic planning (Oh what
shall we take?). The anticipation of this trip did not disappoint.
It reminded us of the old adage "love at first site!" Wehn we arrived
at Villa Paraiso we found a breathtaking view and knew this was going
to be a breathtakinly fun week. The morning monkeys howling, the newly
learned sounds of the Maggie jays (& their sweet begging), the morning
squawking of the parrots buzzing by and our days began. There were
raccoons & geckos, Oh My!! It was dinner, that first evening that
began the food fest. Demaris & Deyanita are wonderful cooks/chefs/bakers.
Every meal was a feast for the palate and eys. The only thing that
came faster than our meals were the margaritas! Chema is a superb
bartender who came to us with a smile and answered each of our wishes!
Susana kept the villa so clean! Thank you, thank you, thank you !
Thank you.

October 30, 2010 Thanks so much to everyone at Villa Paraiso! We all
had such a wonderful and memorable time here. We truly are in
paradise. The staff has been "10+" and the villa is
a beautiful dream come true. We are a group of seven couples
from New Port
Richey, Florida. A previous group came last year and were so
delighted that they immediately began gathering a group for this
year - I think that says it all for these villas. The views are
breathtaking and the food and service superb. I, personally,
am 73, and I have never had such a totally fulfilling vacation
as this. My hats off to the entire staff. We have come to love
each of them. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

To Steve and the staff at Villa Paraiso: Thank you!
Walking into the villa for the first time was absolutely breathtaking
-- WOW what a view. Of course, the staff -- Chema, Damaris, Deyanira,
Susuna, Francisco and Tomatoe -- they were awesome. We enjoyed
zipping through the trees, going to Ocotal beach and just handing
around the pool. Que Dios los bendiga a todos!

October 9, 2010 This was the most awesome vacation I have ever experienced.
Friends were cemented forever and memories that will always last.
-- P. Wilkie, FL
Wow! Wow! What an awesome place. We absolutly loved
it. We ate 'til we couldn't move!!! The service made it so relaxing.
But being here molding relationships we will have until the day
we dies, was the best. I loved our cooks, house keepers, and
bar tender. They were fun too!! We danced a lot, wam a lot, sunned
a lot, and ate a lot. A really relaxing, fun time. Make sure
you zip line and feed the racoons. But not close to the house.
Greatest vacation ever.
-- Sunny Swilley, Miami, FL
Steve, the villa was beautiful, the staff was incredible,
and the view was spectacular. I hope to bring my family back
and visit with Polly again next year. What a great experience.
I totally relaxed.

We will return to Costa Rica -- hopefully we will return to Villa Paraiso.
It was so much fun. Thank you to Demarius, Chema, and Susanna for taking such
good care of us while we were on vacation.
Thank you to Francisco for
having everyone here take good care of us when we arrived. The Congo
Canopy Tour was full of monkeys and ver adventurous.
Thanks Tomato
and Allan of Allan Tours. Antonio arranged a fishing trip on Yarelis
-- a huge red snapper and a baracuda were enjoyed all week - in
addition to the meals already planned by Demarius and others. We went
on the
Yarelis to cruise the beaches - great snorkeling, beaches and the
caves.
We must leave tomorrow - We will miss you all!!!
Thanks for a wonderful vacation.

and we want to come back to celebrate as often as possible. Damaris,
Chema, and Susana were absolutely FABULOUS. We wish we could tak them
home with us but we look forward to coming back to see them again.
We definitely recommend the zipline tours and snorkeling
with Pelicano Tours, Playa Juevos, Egg Beach, exploring the caves and
dolphin watching. Also
enjoyed the morning walks to the beach - you'll need them after eating
Damari's great food and drinking Chama's margaritas. Chema can schedule
a massage whenever you want - the best I've ever had. Loved the zipline/wihite
water rafting with ALlan's Tours and Tomato was a great tour guide.

Villa Paraiso is an experience made possible by Costa Rican people that want
to serve & share their way of life with you. They are all friendly, honest,
intensely intelligent, kind and gracious.
We encourage guests to take advantage
of the many great adventures we enjoyed such as feeding the gentle
white-faced monkeys out of
our hands on the river tour, white water rafting - ziplining 100'
above ground & water sliding @ Polo Verde. During these adventures,
you will see incredible wildlife such as crocodiles, bats, exotic
birds & monkeys. Awesome guides
supplied by Allan - ask for Tomato & driver Cheeks.
Back to the villa, the following activities
were enjoyed by all: relaxing in the infinity pool overlooking
the gorgeous view, waking
up to paradise, the surprise cake especially made for us on Mother's
Day, pampering spa services, sunset cocktails @ Hotel Ocotol, being
with friends in an exotic place, Gordo, howler monkeys & the
birds.

February 23, 2008 - An absolutely
terrific vacation!
It was both relaxing and exciting. The days
spent lounging around the pool being waited on by this great staff were fabulous.
The trips to see the birds and monkeys were spectacular. Never have we had
a more adventurous day than the one spent on the canopy tour. The zip line,
water slide, mud bath and swim were thrilling, especially for the two 3-year-olds!
Loved the Don Bosco sailing trip so much we did it twice. Deep sea fishing
produced a mahi-mahi for dinner. Gordo was a huge hit for the 6 grandchildren
here (aged 14-3). Very smart, protective and loyal.
The staff is extremely
friendly and anxious to please. A great time was had by all. We plan to return
